Devolution of the Crown Estate to Wales

The Crown Estate manages land, other property and assets rights across the UK – Income and profits that generate huge sums – money which leaves Wales.
A third of all children growing up in Wales are growing up in poverty, the highest in the UK. Devolving the Crown Estate could allow Wales to address this poverty by creating a sovereign wealth fund for public benefit.
Mae Ystâd y Goron yn rheoli tir, hawliau eiddo ac asedau eraill ar draws y DU – Incwm ac elw sy’n cynhyrchu symiau enfawr – arian sy’n gadael Cymru.
Mae traean o’r holl blant sy’n tyfu i fyny yng Nghymru yn tyfu i fyny mewn tlodi, yr uchaf yn y DU. Gallai datganoli Ystâd y Goron ganiatáu i Gymru fynd i’r afael â’r tlodi hwn drwy greu cronfa cyfoeth sofran er budd y cyhoedd.
We are calling for a fundamental rethink of housing policy, ensuring that it prioritises the social, cultural and economic needs of communities and the sustainability of the natural environment rather than the commercial interests of developers.
Rydym yn galw am ailfeddwl sylfaenol am bolisi tai, gan sicrhau ei fod yn blaenoriaethu anghenion cymdeithasol, diwylliannol ac economaidd cymunedau a chynaliadwyedd yr amgylchedd naturiol yn hytrach na buddiannau masnachol datblygwyr.
